Fonua Ola needed to bring their communications in line with their strategic direction and the merge of social services providers, presenting a more cohesive image of the social service provider. They asked Oceania Media for help to elevate their profile in the local community and with key stakeholders.

Oceania Media worked with Fonua Ola to develop a new website, including a content plan before beginning the build phase. The brand new professional website was set up and developed, to allow Fonua Ola to manage ongoing content in house.

Content management training was included to a nominated member of Fonua Ola staff to ensure handover was successful. Google Analytics was set up to ensure Fonua Ola is able to report on the effectiveness of the revamped communications over time.

We also developed an e-newsletter template on Fonua Ola’s behalf to coordinate with the website, and refined Fonua Ola’s existing Facebook page to incorporate their branding and messaging, and use it as a referral tool directing people to the Fonua Ola website.

We finished off the project by developing a press release which detailed Fonua Ola’s repositioning and reminding people of their services available to the community. This was distributed to Oceania Media’s extensive list of media contacts which includes over 1,200 contacts across newspapers, magazines, radio, online blogs and television.
